Holiday Inn Express & Suites $235

Delta Hotel Calgary South $150

Other options:

Comfort Inn and Suites South – 4611 Macleod Trail SW – 2 queen beds $190

Best Western Plus Village Park Inn – 2 queen beds $210

This hotel is in an area called Motel Village near the University of Calgary.  You can search hotels in this area for other options – there are a bunch.

You can also research Air B&B or other standard B&B or private accommodations on Trivago, Travelocity, etc.  Our house is 124 Woodborough Road S.W. if you want to find a place close to ours.

Downtown hotels are upper end, quite expensive and generally not recommended on that basis.  Parking downtown is expensive, getting around is difficult, and it’s not near our house.

Transit in Calgary isn’t that great.  Car rental recommended.  There’s an above ground subway that has limited routes, but which does run along Macleod Trail, but doesn’t go near our house.  It does run to downtown though.
